As part of the Pedagogical Training Course – Round 16 at the University of Zakho, participants visited RAST Private School on 27 September 2026, within the Competence-Based Education (CBE) Module.

The visit provided participants with a valuable opportunity to explore the application of Competence-Based Education principles in a real school environment. Through observing teaching and learning practices, participants were able to connect the concepts discussed during the module with authentic educational experiences and reflect on how competence-based approaches can support meaningful learning.

Following the visit, participants took part in a reflection activity, sharing their observations, experiences, and insights. The activity encouraged them to connect theory with practice and consider how the principles of Competence-Based Education could be applied within their own educational contexts.

The activity was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Nasreen Jalal Hussein, the CBE Module Instructor, alongside Mrs. Soleen Nadhim Abdullah from the Pedagogical Center.

The visit formed a meaningful part of the participants’ learning experience, providing an opportunity to observe, reflect, and connect pedagogical concepts with practice.
