The University of Zakho expressed its sincere appreciation and recognition to its volunteer students for their active role in the vote collection campaign in support of Zakho Sports Club.

During a special ceremony that was organized on February 12, 2026, the Vice President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Mohammed H. Khmo, commended the students for their dedication and perseverance and conveyed the Presidency’s gratitude for their active role in the success of the “Vote Collection Campaign in Support of Zakho Sports Club within the University Campus”. 

He affirmed that the University takes pride in students who demonstrate strong determination and a spirit of national and athletic responsibility, noting that supporting the city’s sports club represents a shared commitment.

The ceremony concluded with best wishes for the students’ continued success and progress in their academic and social endeavors.
